HONOLULU – The Honolulu Star-Advertiser presents a Virtual Career Expo on Wednesday and Thursday (Jan. 26 and 27) that will allow employers and job seekers to connect in a safe environment. Due to pandemic safety guidelines, the expo will be hosted online, allowing the virtual event to expand its reach to the Neighbor Islands.
Whether hoping to find a fresh start, a better job, or a new career direction, this free event will allow job seekers to visit the virtual booths of many of Hawaii’s leading companies, all looking for qualified hires in a competitive recruitment marketplace. Job seekers will be able to learn about available jobs, initiate private one-on-one chats with recruiters, and upload resumes confidentially. We are now accepting pre-registration at HawaiiCareerExpo.com.
“Now more than ever, there is a critical need to provide innovative ways for companies and potential employees to connect. This will be our fifth virtually held expo,” said Denise Ching, Classified Advertising Manager at the Honolulu Star-Advertiser. “Virtual Career Expo connects thousands of jobseekers with recruiters and HR managers throughout the state. They are able to connect directly with employers, submit resumes, and get hired on the spot.”
