Inside Hawaii’s Career Expo: Where Job Seekers Meet Employers Face-to-Face

HONOLULU – Sponsored by the Honolulu Star-Advertiser, Star Events Hawaii is pleased to present the Hawaii Career Expo on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at 9 a.m. til 2 p.m. at the Neal Blaisdell Center Exhibition Hall. Over 100 booths of employers from various industries will provide career opportunities for potential employees. Job seekers will be able to learn about available jobs and experience one-on-one conversations with company recruiters at this event.

They will be able to deliver their resumes and ask important questions regarding the available jobs. This FREE Hawaii Career Expo allows job seekers to visit with many of Hawaii’s best employers, who are looking for qualified people to join their teams.

“Each year, thousands of people participate in our career expos to connect with hundreds of recruiters and Human Resource managers throughout the state,” said Star Events Director Denise Ching. “This month, we are excited to feature opportunities in a wide variety of job categories including law enforcement, construction, nursing, food service, tourism & hospitality, financial institutions, emergency services, retail, technology, transportation and so much more.”

With over 100 booths to visit, the Hawaii Career Expo attracts many of Hawaii’s most qualified and successful applicants and has helped these employers connect with talented candidates seeking employment in a variety of fields.

Job seekers are invited to attend a FREE Resume Workshop presented by City and County of Honolulu – Dept. of Community Services – on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at 9 a.m. til 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. til 3 p.m. at Dole Cannery Office Building, 680 Iwilei Road, Suite 700, Honolulu. These workshops offer assistance in creating, updating and printing resumes before attending the Career Expo. Registration for this workshop is online at honolulu.gov/dcs/EventForm

The Hawaii Career Expo is on Wednesday, April 29 at 9 a.m. til 2 p.m at The Neal Blaisdell Exhibition Hall. Attendees may present a printed copy of their resume at the front door for free admission.
