Going Places A LOOK AT WHO’S ON THE MOVE ON OAHU

SUSIE GABRIEL advances to vice president, clinical services and chief nursing officer at REHAB Hospital of the Pacific. She will be implementing and monitoring nursing standards to provide quality, interdisciplinary and integrated care. Gabriel has worked in the medical industry for more than 30 years, including nursing experience leading acute care, long-term care, and home and hospice care programs across Hawaii.

JASON CHANG steps in as business development manager in the employee benefits unit of Atlas Insurance Agency Inc. He is responsible for prospecting new clients and generating new business by placing employee benefit coverage for his clients, working closely with account managers in personal lines and property and casualty for cross-selling.

CHERYL YEH advances to vice president and senior underwriter at Central Pacific Bank. She will manage the commercial real estate lending division (CRELD) underwriters, team assignments, processes and workfl ows to support CRELD’s goals and objectives. Yeh was previously assistant vice president and senior underwriter for CRELD. Prior to joining Central Pacific Bank in 2003, she held various positions at Bank of Hawaii, her most recent as personal trust officer.

CHRIS HRYBINIAK joins Turtle Bay Resort as executive chef. He will lead the full culinary team for the main hotel’s five restaurants and bars, in-room dining and special events and conference services. Hrybiniak has more than 30 years of experience, and has worked extensively in Las Vegas at restaurants such as Spago by Wolfgang Puck, Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas, and JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa. He received his culinary degree from Western Culinary Institute in Portland, Oregon.
